Toad & Sew is the modern quilt pattern brand created by Taylor Krz, an illustrator and graphic designer based in Seattle, WA. With a background in the arts and a love for bold, geometric design, Taylor brings a fresh perspective to quilting—combining graphic shapes, intentional color palettes, and approachable construction. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a passion for designing patterns that feel both playful and modern. The name Toad & Sew is inspired by her rescue pup, Toad, who’s been part of the journey since day one.
