Dancing Beak to Beak
The 2024/2025 Stray Threads Raffle Quilt named “Dancing Beak to Beak” is made from blocks of a publicly available bird block pattern proposed by Laurie M. Laurie put together into a quilt top, the blocks made by individual STQG members. There are 140 bird blocks on the front and 13 more birds on the back of the quilt that was also pieced by Laurie. Kathy Hise is the quilter. A group of members got together at Pat's house to bind the quilt. Maggie volunteered to organize the ticket sales. The winning quilt ticket will be drawn at the May 2025 STQG monthly meeting.
